We repair swimming pool pumps, filters and heaters, and jacuzzis, for villas, compounds and hotels — a visit at the earliest available slot for your area, and a 6-month written warranty.

Pool & Spa Equipment Service with Agent Site

A pool relies on four things: the pump that circulates the water, the filter that cleans it, the heater, and the sanitising system (chlorine or a salt chlorinator). A fault in any of them shows quickly: cloudy or green water, weak flow or cold water. We repair this equipment for villas, compounds and hotels: pumps, filters (sand, cartridge and DE), heaters (gas, electric and heat pump) and jacuzzis.

We work on the equipment common in Egypt, such as Pentair, Hayward, AstralPool, Jandy and Davey. The work covers replacing pump motors, impellers and seals, cleaning sand filters and replacing the sand, heater servicing, calibrating chlorine and pH dosing pumps, repairing jacuzzi pumps and jets, installing salt chlorinators, replacing pool lights and servicing automatic covers. Parts are original or compatible, depending on the part and model.

Pool & Spa Equipment Types We Service

Pool Pumps Repair for Hotels

The pool pump is the heart of the system: it draws water from the skimmer and main drain, pushes it through the filter and heater, and returns it to the pool. We service single-speed and variable-speed (inverter) pumps such as the Pentair IntelliFlo, Hayward Super Pump, Jandy ePump and AstralPool models.

A pump has a motor, an impeller, a strainer basket and a mechanical seal that stops leaks. The most common faults: worn bearings, a clogged impeller, a leaking seal, or a failed capacitor (the motor hums but will not turn).

Signs it needs service

  • Loud pump noise
  • The pump does not start, or hums without turning
  • Water leaking from the seal
  • Weak water flow

Common faults

  1. Worn motor bearings
  2. A clogged impeller
  3. A leaking mechanical seal
  4. A failed capacitor

What we do

  • Bearing replacement
  • Impeller cleaning
  • Mechanical seal replacement
  • Capacitor replacement
  • Full pump replacement

Care tips

  • Empty the pump basket regularly — switch the breaker off first
  • Check the seal weekly: any drip under the pump means it is starting to fail
  • Never run the pump dry — it burns out the seal

Questions

The pool pump is very loud — what should I do?

A loud pump is often air in the system (a low water level or a loose basket lid), a full strainer basket, or worn bearings. Switch off the breaker, empty the basket and check the water level; if the noise stays, call a technician.

Do you service the Pentair IntelliFlo?

Yes — we service Pentair variable-speed pumps such as the IntelliFlo; parts availability depends on the model.

Pool Filters Repair for Hotels

Pool filters come in 3 types: sand filters (the most common), cartridge filters (easy to change) and DE (diatomaceous earth) filters (the finest filtration). We service filters such as the Hayward Pro Series, Pentair Tagelus and AstralPool.

The filter traps dirt and debris before the water returns to the pool. A sand filter has a multiport valve, a sand bed and laterals underneath. A cartridge filter has a filter element, and a DE filter has grids coated with DE powder. Common faults: a failed multiport valve, old or caked sand, and a torn cartridge.

Signs it needs service

  • A very high filter pressure reading
  • The water does not come back clean
  • Leakage from the multiport valve
  • Weak flow

Common faults

  1. A caked sand bed
  2. A failed multiport valve
  3. A torn cartridge
  4. Broken DE grids

What we do

  • Sand replacement (roughly every 5–7 years)
  • Multiport valve repair
  • Cartridge replacement
  • DE grid replacement
  • Full backwash and filter clean

Care tips

  • Backwash when the gauge reads about 8–10 psi above its clean level
  • Replace the sand roughly every 5–7 years, or sooner if it cakes
  • Rinse the cartridge every 1–2 weeks and deep-clean it monthly

Questions

The pressure stays high even after backwashing — why?

Usually the sand is caked or old and needs replacing, or there is a blockage in the return line or a partly closed valve. Make sure the return valves are open; if the pressure stays high, have a technician inspect the filter.

What filter type suits a hotel pool best?

Usually a sand filter — it needs less maintenance and is more economical for large pools. The final choice depends on the pool size and the pump.

Pool Heaters Repair for Hotels

Pool heaters come in 3 types: gas heaters (the fastest to heat), electric heaters (simpler but costly to run) and heat pumps (the most efficient over the long run). We service heaters such as the Pentair MasterTemp, Hayward H-Series, Jandy LXi and AquaCal heat pumps.

A gas pool heater has a burner, a copper heat exchanger, an igniter and a flame sensor. A heat pump has a compressor, refrigerant, an evaporator and a heat exchanger. Common faults: scale on the heat exchanger, a clogged burner, or a failed compressor. A gas heater must sit outdoors or in a well-ventilated spot; if you smell gas, shut the gas valve, do not switch anything electrical on or off, move away and call the gas emergency line 129.

Signs it needs service

  • The heater is not heating
  • The temperature does not reach the setpoint
  • A strange noise from the heat pump
  • An error code on the controller

Common faults

  1. Scale on the heat exchanger (the most common)
  2. A burnt-out burner or igniter
  3. A failed compressor (heat pump)
  4. A failed temperature sensor

What we do

  • Heat exchanger descaling
  • Burner and igniter replacement (gas)
  • Compressor replacement (heat pump)
  • Heat exchanger replacement
  • Refrigerant check (heat pump)

Care tips

  • Keep the pH balanced — the wrong pH corrodes the copper heat exchanger
  • Service it once a year before summer
  • Cover the pool at night — it keeps the heat in and saves energy

Questions

Which is cheaper: a gas heater or a heat pump?

A heat pump is usually cheaper to run long-term, depending on electricity and gas prices, but costs more to install. Gas heats faster. The choice depends on how many hours you heat the pool and on gas availability.

The heat exchanger is damaged — repair or replace?

If it is only scaled, it can be descaled. If the copper is pitted or corroded (usually from the wrong pH), it has to be replaced.

Jacuzzi & Spa Repair for Hotels

A jacuzzi (hot tub / spa) has a pump, jets, a heater, a blower, a filter and a control panel — in villas, hotels and spa centres. We service Jacuzzi and most imported brands.

A jacuzzi has a pump (1–3 HP), a 1500–5500 W heater, an air blower for the bubbles, water jets, ozone or UV-C sanitising, a digital control panel and a cover. Common faults: a leaking pump seal, a burnt-out heating element, clogged jets, a faulty control panel or a failed blower. Because it is an electrical appliance next to water, it must be on a sound earth with RCD protection — and any electrical check is technician work.

Signs it needs service

  • The jacuzzi is not heating
  • The jets have weak pressure
  • Loud pump noise
  • The control panel freezes
  • Water leakage

Common faults

  1. A burnt-out heating element
  2. A failed pump motor
  3. Clogged jets
  4. A faulty control panel
  5. A leaking pump seal

What we do

  • Heating element replacement
  • Spa pump replacement
  • Jet cleaning
  • Control panel replacement
  • Pump seal repair
  • Air blower replacement

Care tips

  • Check the pH every week — a jacuzzi is sensitive
  • Rinse the cartridge every 1–2 weeks, deep-clean it monthly, and replace it when it is damaged or the flow stays weak after cleaning
  • Keep the cover on whenever the jacuzzi is not in use
  • Have the heater checked once a year

Questions

Do you service Jacuzzi-brand spas?

Yes — we service Jacuzzi and most imported brands. Parts availability depends on the model, and we confirm the timing and price before any work.

The jacuzzi suddenly became loud?

Usually air in the lines, a low water level or a clogged filter; a metallic grinding noise usually means worn pump bearings. Switch it off at the breaker, top up the water and clean the filter; if the noise stays, call a technician.

We Understand Water Chemistry

We do not just repair the equipment — we test pH, free chlorine and alkalinity, and tell you how to adjust them so the equipment does not corrode.

Safety First

We check suction outlet and main drain covers to prevent entrapment accidents, and the earthing and RCD protection of all electrical equipment near the water.

Complete Pool Check

We inspect all the equipment and test the water, then tell you in writing what needs fixing now and what to keep an eye on.

Tips to Extend Your Pool Equipment's Life

  • Check the pH weekly (it should be 7.2–7.6) — the wrong pH damages the equipment and copper heat exchangers
  • Test free chlorine daily (1–3 ppm)
  • Empty the skimmer basket daily — leaves and insects clog the pump
  • Check the filter pressure gauge weekly; backwash when it reads about 8–10 psi above its clean level
  • Have the pool heater inspected every year before summer
  • Cover the pool at night to keep the heat in, and clean the cover regularly so algae does not build up on it
  • During the closed season (winter for outdoor pools), switch the equipment off at the breaker
  • Switch off the pump breaker before opening the strainer basket or any cover — underwater lights and any wiring near the water are technician work

Frequently Asked Questions

The pool water has turned green — what should I do?

It is algae growth caused by low free chlorine or the wrong pH. The fix: a chlorine shock treatment, pH adjustment and a filter clean or backwash. Stay safe: never mix chlorine with acid or any other chemical (it releases toxic gas), add chemicals to water and not water to chemicals, wear gloves and goggles, and keep everyone out of the pool until free chlorine is back to 1–3 ppm. If the water stays green, a technician checks the pump, the filter and the chemical dosing.

The water is cloudy but not green — why?

Usually the filtration is not keeping up: the pump runs too few hours, the filter needs a backwash or new sand, or the pH and alkalinity are high. Run the pump long enough, backwash if the gauge reads high, and test the water; if it stays cloudy, have a technician check the filter and pump.

Do you work on Pentair pool equipment?

Yes — we work on Pentair, Hayward, Jandy and other equipment. Parts are original or compatible, depending on the part and model, and we confirm the timing and price before any work.

The pool heater is not heating — why?

Gas heater: usually the burner, flame sensor or ignition. Electric: the heating element. Heat pump: the compressor or refrigerant. First check that the pump is running and the filter is clean — the heater will not fire without enough water flow. An inspection pinpoints the cause.

Do you offer periodic maintenance for a hotel or compound pool?

Yes — we agree the scope of work and the visit schedule with the management after inspecting the equipment, and it is written into the quote. Visits run daily from 9 AM to 9 PM.

Do you install salt water chlorination systems?

Yes — the system generates chlorine from salt automatically, so the water feels softer on skin and eyes and needs less manual chlorine. Installation covers the salt cell, the control unit and setting the output, with a 6-month written warranty on the work and the parts we fit.

The jacuzzi is broken — can it be repaired?

Yes — we repair the pump, jets, blower, heater and control panel. Parts availability depends on the model; we confirm the timing and price in writing after the inspection.

How long does pool equipment last?

There is no fixed figure — lifespan depends on running hours, water chemistry and maintenance. As a rough guide, a pump lasts 8–12 years, filter sand is replaced every 5–7 years, and a salt cell has a shorter life than the rest of the equipment. What extends life most: correct pH and a clean filter.
