By using agent-site.com or requesting any service from Agent Site —
the trade name owned by Smart Service Group — you expressly agree to be
bound by these terms. Please read carefully before requesting service.
1. Definitions
- Service Provider: Smart Service Group, owner and operator of the "Agent Site" brand.
- Customer: Any natural or legal person requesting a service or using the site.
- Service: Diagnostics, repair, installation, or scheduled maintenance for home, commercial, and industrial appliances.
- Site: agent-site.com and any of its pages or subdomains.
2. Service Scope and Nature of the Center
Agent Site is an independent service center specializing in appliance repair across various brands. Unless explicitly stated in writing that we hold a formal authorization from a specific brand, any reference to a trademark or logo on this site is for descriptive purposes only — to indicate the type of equipment we service — and does not imply any agency, sponsorship, or endorsement by the brand owner. All trademarks and logos remain the property of their respective owners.
Our services fall into two categories depending on brand and device status:
- In-warranty service: Provided only for brands with which we hold a formal written authorization. Conditions are governed by the agency agreement with the manufacturer.
- Out-of-warranty service: Available for all other brands and governed entirely by Agent Site's own terms regarding pricing, parts used, and the warranty period we grant.
3. Booking and Pricing
- The diagnostic fee is set according to our published rate before the technician arrives.
- Repair pricing is communicated to the customer before any work begins; the customer may accept or decline.
- If declined after diagnostics, only the published diagnostic fee is due.
- An official tax invoice is issued upon completion.
- Any verbal promise by a technician or staff member is not binding unless documented in writing.
4. Warranty Granted by Agent Site
We provide a written warranty of six months on the repair performed and any part replaced, starting from the invoice date. The warranty covers:
- Recurrence of the same fault that was repaired within the warranty period.
- Manufacturing defects in the part we installed.
The warranty does not cover:
- New faults unrelated to the prior repair.
- Misuse, operation on non-compliant voltage, or exposure to unusual humidity or heat.
- Any third-party intervention, disassembly, or repair after our visit.
- Parts supplied by the customer.
- Damage from accidents, floods, fires, or force majeure events.
The manufacturer's warranty is fully separate from Agent Site's warranty. It is governed by the brand owner's terms, and we are not responsible for honoring it unless we hold a formal written agency agreement.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Egyptian law, the liability of Smart Service Group and Agent Site is limited to the following:
- Re-performing the repair that proved defective within the warranty period, or refunding its value.
- Maximum financial liability = the value of the disputed invoice.
We shall not, under any circumstances, be liable for indirect or consequential damages — such as loss of profit, business interruption, spoilage of contents (food in fridges/freezers), or any moral damages — except in cases of gross negligence or proven fraud as defined by law.
6. Customer Obligations
- Provide accurate information about the device, fault, and service location.
- Provide safe access for the technician and a suitable power source for testing.
- Keep children and valuable items away from the work area.
- Retain the invoice and warranty document for later use.
7. Cancellation and No-Show
If you need to cancel a visit, please notify us at least two hours before the technician's arrival. If the technician arrives and the customer is absent or access is denied, a dispatch fee equal to the published diagnostic fee will apply.
8. Intellectual Property
All site content — text, logos, images, designs, and code — is owned by or licensed to Smart Service Group and protected under the intellectual property laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Reproduction or republication is not permitted without prior written consent. Brand logos remain the property of their respective owners.
9. Changes to the Terms
We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a refreshed "Last updated" date. Continued use of the site or requesting a new service after such amendment constitutes acceptance of the updated version.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The courts of Giza shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. In particular, Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018 and its executive regulations, as well as Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020, shall apply.
