Tips to keep your Side-by-Side Refrigerator running

The ice maker does not make ice — what is the cause?
Usually a burnt-out water inlet valve or a clogged water filter; sometimes the ice-maker motor itself has failed. First make sure the ice maker switch is on and the water valve is open.
How much is a water filter for a side-by-side fridge?

Do you install new side-by-side fridges?

Usually cold air is not reaching the fridge side: the evaporator fan, the air damper, or an evaporator iced up by a defrost fault. Check the vents inside are not blocked by food, then call a technician.
