Frequently Asked Questions about LED

Black screen with sound — why?

90% of cases: burnt backlight LEDs. Test by shining a flashlight on the screen — if you see a faint image, backlight is the cause. Fix by replacing strips.

Lines on screen — repairable?

Multiple wide vertical lines: usually T-Con board or ribbon cables. Single thin line: LCD panel itself (not economically repairable).

TV turns on and off — cause?

Power supply board with swollen or burnt capacitors. Simple visual inspection confirms. Easy fix by cap replacement.
